Inland Northwest Land Trust nature poetry contest
Show 'em your local character and write an inland northwest nature poem |

 Wax poetic about a favorite location, animal, plant, etc. in eastern Washington or northern Idaho.
Entry rules: please submit each poem in Times New Roman (default font), single-spaced, one poem per sheet of paper. Please include a cover sheet with your name, address and the titles of the poems you are submitting.
Paul Haeder (SFCC English instructor) will judge the poetry submissions. Selected authors will be invited to read at the Community Building lobby during First Friday in October, be featured on our website and be included in a poetry book available to the community.
Entries must be original, unpublished and NOT reference the author by name. Entries are free. Please submit up to 3 poems and each poem must be 30 lines or less.
