Are you interested in sharing a little of your time and talent to help the land trust? INLT has opportunities indoors and out – from one-day projects to longer-term commitments. There’s bound to be something that works for you.
Trip leaders and assistants
Join us for a hike and share your knowledge of birds, plants, or trees. Most of our outings will be on weekends. We also need people who would be willing to help organize and lead land trust outings.
Event organizers and helpers
Are you a creative event planner or are you a “worker bee”? Whichever you are, we need you to help with one or more fundraising events – such as a speaker’s series, wine tasting, and more.
Membership assistants
Are you an organizer? We need help with planning the renewal drive, writing thank you cards, and planning fun events and outings for our members.
Reporters and media support
Are you a reporter or a writer or have you worked in television news? We need your help with publicity and the newsletter – writing news stories and press releases and getting TV news coverage.
Community outreach
Would you be willing to hand out INLT information? We are building a pool of volunteers who would represent the land trust at community events such as Earth Day. Please help us spread the word.
Field work
Our field season is over for 2009 - we won't be recruiting field volunteers until spring of 2010.
If you are interested in volunteering for INLT, please contact Carole at 509-328-2939 or colivier@inlandnwlandtrust.org.
